Corncob Witch
CORNCOB WITCH
(corncob with husk, paint, dried beans, paper, lightweight cardboard)
1. Remove the kernels from a dried corncob and trim the ends. Paint the body black except for the head. Glue on dried beans for eyes, a nose, and a mouth. Trim the cornhusks for the hair.
2. To make the hat, cut two circles from black paper. Cut the center out of one circle. Cut a slit to the center of the other circle and roll it into the shape of a cone. Glue the cone shape onto the flat circle, covering the hole. Glue the hat to the cornhusk hair.
3. Attach a cardboard base of black feet so that the witch can stand.
