Bottle Witch
BOTTLE WITCH
(1-liter plastic beverage bottle, 2 1/2-inch plastic-foam ball, poster board, lightweight cotton cloth, ribbon, sequins, black paper, self-adhesive stars)
1. Remove the top of a 1-liter plastic beverage bottle, and spread glue around the inside and outside of the spout. Twist and press a 2 1/2-inch plastic-foam ball into the spout for the head.
2. Draw and cut shoes from a piece of poster board, and glue them to the bottom of the bottle.
3. Cut a 24-inch round piece of lightweight cotton cloth. Cut a slit to the middle. Spread glue around the neck of the bottle and wrap the cloth around it, adding more glue if needed. Tie a piece of ribbon around the neck.
4. To make hair, cut and glue strips of cloth to the ball. For the face, cut features from cloth and glue in place. Add sequins for eyes.
5. To make the hat, cut two circles from black paper. Cut the center out of one circle. Cut a slit to the center of the other circle, and roll it into the shape of a cone. Glue the cone shape onto the flat circle, covering the hole. Then glue the hat to the head.
6. Add self-adhesive stars to the hat and cloth.
