(pumpkin, table knife, two apples, cucumber, toothpick halves, marshmallows, paper, celery)
1. Have an adult help you when using a knife. Cut two apples and a cucumber in half. On the pumpkin surface, trace around one top-half section of the apple for the mouth, two bottom-half sections of the apples for the cheeks, and one half of the cucumber for the nose. Cut around the tracings with a table knife, cutting through the pumpkin wall, and push the apple halves and cucumber inside the pumpkin.
2. Insert two whole toothpicks where the eyes should be, and place a marshmallow on each one. Add a pupil to each eye made from paper. For the eyebrows, cut small sections from the leftover cucumber and attach them with toothpick halves.
3. Cut the leafy sections from a bunch of celery. Attach them with toothpick halves to the top of the pumpkin to make hair.
